The Non-Profit Water For People is doing some really great work in developing Nations. I helped the organization produce a handful of videos that spotlight the work they're doing, the partners they work with, and the progress they're making. While children have fun spinning on the PlayPump merry-go-round, clean water is pumped from underground into a 2,500-liter tank. A simple tap makes it easy for adults and children to draw water. Excess water is diverted from the storage tank back down into the borehole.

The design of the PlayPump water system makes it highly effective, easy to operate and very economical, keeping costs and maintenance to an absolute minimum.

As part of Water For People’s integration of PlayPumps technology into its portfolio of community water options, they will modify the system and its operation to fit the needs of local communities and improve sustainability. This includes investing resources in catalyzing local entrepreneurs to service the systems, as well as reducing tank height, keeping potential advertising revenue in the community, etc.

I found some informative videos on the Godaddy site that can appeal to a wide audience of business professionals. Bob Parsons, founder of GoDaddy.com, started his own video blog with himself as the personality of each episode. Each month he adds a short, informal and humorous set of video tips, often about business advice. You wouldn't think the guy was meant to be in front of the camera, as he holds an awkward presence, but his goofiness and simplicity make the videos easy for anyone to watch. Although these videos offer free advice and free content, it's a great way for Godaddy.com to appear as the business experts when it comes to start-ups and web hosting.
