Many of the biggest brands in the world have turned to Steve Capstick for breakthrough content, broadcast television commercials, and film-based assets across the entire spectrum of modern media. An incredibly diverse background has given Steve extremely sought-after qualities not often found in a single director: the skill to create gorgeous, cinematic film, coupled with the story-telling ability so critical to broadcast TV commercials.
Steve got his start at Oak Creek Films, where he shot Tread, the world’s first feature-length mountain bike film. Not long after he turned his talents to documentary film-making, where he won 5 Emmy awards. From there Steve moved into advertising, creating work for brands like Coke Zero, Under Armour, and Volkswagen. His film work has been awarded internationally, including The Andys, The One Show, and the Cannes Advertising Festival.
When he’s not shooting TV commercials, Steve shoots for NFL Films, the most coveted and difficult job in the world of sports cinematography, regularly contributing to programs like Showtime’s Inside the NFL.
